Writer Bio

Farah Mak is a devoted lioness mama of four fabulous kids, 3 super cute fur babies, and supportive wife and partner in life to her fun-loving husband. Amongst the many hats she wears, Farah is an actor, author, speaker, writer, entrepreneur and passionate advocate for self-worth. She's a survivor and a thriver who believes wholeheartedly in the power of glitter, both literal and metaphorical, to uplift, inspire and empower people to get their own sparkle on and step into their self-worth with strength, courage, compassion and conviction.

Farah has been a guest speaker for luxury brands, including Ferrari at their ‘Ferrari Driven Women International Women's Day Luncheon’, where she spoke candidly of her story, shared her beliefs on modern feminism and inspired the room full of strong women to take action through the notion of 'empowered women, empower women'.

In 2020 Farah founded The Self-Worth Movement; a social enterprise on a global mission to educate, inspire and empower women and girls to know exactly who they are, what they stand for, and what they want to say.

Her stylised docu-drama; 'She Shines' is a love story like no other. It's a story about self-love and self-worth; it's a call to arms to rediscover our own authentic, intrinsic self-worth. With an incredibly talented and passionate creative team onboard, She Shines is set to be a powerful resource and magical movie with an original, captivating story to further the mission of The Self-Worth Movement.

Farah has recently finished writing two children’s picture books; “Bella the Brave” and “Monty the Mighty” which are filled with fun messages of encouragement for empowering kids and adults alike, igniting creativity and a sense of adventure! 

Children's Book Author

Adding to her repertoire, Farah is set to launch her first children's picture book, "(I am) Worthy!" This captivating and empowering series aims to inspire and empower young girls to know their innate worth and discover their core values, reflecting her ongoing commitment to nurturing self-worth across all ages. The book is a natural extension of her work, aimed at instilling a sense of self-worth and confidence in the next generation.
